How Rubber Ducks have helped the 2008 Phillies World Series Effort

Odd, but true, SqueakyDucks.com has been helping out the Phillies and their 2008 World Series Effort. Staying loose is the name of the game for this baseball club, which is why the management of the Phillies placed a rubber duck from SqueakyDucks.com in each players locker on Saturday 10/17/08. We've been noted on MLB.com, ESPN, the Chicago Tribune and the Peoria Journal Star. In fact, we even updated our front page in support of our pals, the Phillies. To see us in the news, check our our new "In The News" section on our website.

Summer of Sport '08

Greetings, friends! I hope your summer has been going well, I know mine has. Some of you may know have been watching the Summer Olympics on my friends TV channel - you now, the channel of my friend the Peacock. Yep, he's broadcasting the Summer Games, which is fine by me - I don't like to work that hard. Michael Phelps. Need I say more? Wow, he's awesome. Way to go Michael! (And way to pounce on the Frenchies during the relay... that was classic)! Pommes Frites anyone?

Back to the subject. While many of us have been excited about the swimming events and ogling over Phelps, curious about the Kinesio tape on the beach volleyball players, or trying to figure out the ages of the Chinese gymnast's, this summer's Olympics have been fun. As a sidebar, have you seen all of the sporting ducks we have at SqueakyDucks.com? I've been busy building our collection over the past several years to the point that they're looking pretty good. If you'd like to see all of the athletic ducks we have, click here.

And, as a tribute to the U.S. Olympic Team, our patriotic ducks are available here.

Until next time, enjoy the games, have fun with your family and friends, and enjoy the outdoors while summer is still here.

Your pal,
Squeaky the Duck

What a busy spring!

Gosh, I can't believe the 4th of July is almost here! I'm in Salt Lake City right now, getting ready to take flight heading back to the base camp in Peoria, Illinois. Have you seen all the new duck friends I have on my website? Check them out - they're really cool.

Since December, I've been busy building the store with new friends... including our new Devil Ducks! To get to them, go to: www.squeakyducks.com --> Theme Ducks --> Devil Ducks.

Enjoy, and have a great, safe, and fun Independence Day!

Merry Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah & Ramadan - I'm on vacation!

I don't know about you, but I sure am glad that the Christmas shopping rush is over - my feathers have been all ruffled trying to get all of the rubber ducks out for this year's holiday season! In fact, Santa even placed a big order this year - I bet his elves were glad since they got a little reprieve!

Well, I hope everyone has a nice holiday, whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, or Christmas, enjoy the time of year that is special to you and your family. Speaking of this special time of year, I'm going to be off on vacation with my family from December 22 until December 26. It's still ok to place an order during that time though, I'll make sure to get it out as soon as I get back!

Talk with you soon,
Squeaky

The weather outside is frightful

Quack Quack Quack!

They say that in the winter time that sometimes the weather outside is frightful. Yep, it is in Peoria! I'm not sure why I didn't fly south for the winter this year; I guess it might be because I'm lazy. Nope, I don't think so. It might be because Peoria's the best place there is. Once again, nope; Peoria's great, but not a "Resort Destination." Why am I hear? It's because of family.

As the ice storm heads east from Witchita and Kansas City towards Peoria, I'm glad that my flock will be close by my side to keep me warm during the storm. It's the type of comfort you get when near your family and friends around the holidays... By the way, it's only 15 days until the fat man comes and tries to fit down our chimneys! Yippie!

Merry Christmas; if I can, I'll try to put another post on while I'm huddled near the fireplace during tomorrow's storm!

Your pal,

Squeaky the Duck
